Join us to find out how he did it. Guest expert Dr. Martin Entz from the University of Manitoba will be on hand to engage in discussion on the evolving science of organic. Our partner on this tour, Ducks Unlimited, will also bring in experts Michael Thiele and Alex Griffiths to expand the conversation about how to include wildlife in planting and crop management decisions

This is an integrated farm with cattle and organic field crops. You'll see how Ian, Zach and Linda Grossart build soil and grow healthy cattle with multi-species crop mixes.
Dr. Joanne Thiessen Martens from the University of Manitoba will take you through the process of testing green manure foliage for nutrients and using this information in a new Nutrient Budgeting App that will allow you to develop better crop rotations that take advantage of available soil nutrients.
